Teaching myself to paint was how I began to heal

I first began painting in 2006 when some tubes of oil paint fell out of a messy cupboard at a time in my life when the therapy of painting was just what I needed.

Self-taught in oils and acrylics, my subjects have long been guided by a fascination with the transformational effect of light. I strive to capture those rare and fleeting moments of especial radiance that leave their mark on us, reminding us about harmony, health and wholeness.

Subjects range from floral to architectural, landscape to figurative, as well as digital art, pencil sketches and watercolours (you can explore all these groupings in the galleries below).

Whilst originals are only occasionally in stock, my art is readily available all over the world as digital prints and more via countless print on demand websites as well as available to download and use via my international licensing partners Bridgeman Images.
