Crownfields

2009: Commissioned house portrait working from a series of my own location photographs. Crownfields was a long-time family home and this painting was commissioned just before the house was sold as a keep-sake of so many happy times spent there; the door left ajar a hint of the warm welcome that was always to be found inside.
