Henley Arts Trail

by Helen White in Exhibitions

Am delighted to announce that a selection of my floral work will be on display at Venue 10 of the Henley Arts Trail next weekend, 30th April – 2nd May, in addition to two pieces which are already on display at Venue 1, The Old Firestation Gallery, Market Place, Henley-on-Thames. For full details of the trail and a map of all the venues, visit the Henley Art Trail website.

My work is being hosted at that venue by Wendy Penrose who creates contemporary jewellery designs inspired by nature, handmade in precious metals. Wendy will be exhibiting in her garden workshop and doing glassmaking demonstrations.

Directions: Leave Henley on the A4155 towards Shiplake. Go past Lower Shiplake and proceed up the hill. Take the first right into Memorial Ave (ope Mill Lane). Orchard Close is the first turning on the left, just before the Memorial Hall. Rose Cottage is at the end of Orchard Close, between no. 9 & 10.

Wendy’s garden makes for a really lovely art venue and I’ve never managed to go there yet without coming home clutching one (or more…) of her beautiful creations so its a real bonus to have my work on display in her marquee this year. As a highly recommended way to spend the Bank Holiday weekend, I do hope you can make it along to this worthwhile venue over the course of the Art Trail.
